I am so excited to be part of the Olive Chapel family again this year! This is my thirteenth year teaching and my sixth year at OCE. I have taught both first and second grade, but second is my favorite!
I was born in Atlanta, GA but my family moved to Cary, NC when I was just a baby. I grew up in Wake County Schools and I graduated from Apex High School! I went to Campbell University where I played 4 years of volleyball. GO CAMELS! I graduated in 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education and then again in 2011 with my Masters of Education with a certification in AIG education.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my amazing family: my husband, Danny, my 6 year old son, Jackson and my 3 year old daughter, Campbell. We love playing games, going to the pool, playing at the park and going on walks with our dog, Julie. My life is a little crazy right now with two active children and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I am so excited to be a part of the Olive Chapel family again. This makes my tenth full year of teaching and second grade is by far my favorite grade.
I have two boys: Jacob, who is 19 years old, and Caleb, who is 11 years old. They are full of energy and love to laugh. Jacob loves to eat at Waffle House and spend time with his “squad” of friends. Caleb loves anything Fortnite and soccer. He will start middle school this year.
My husband teaches college students about writing. We live in Holly Springs along with our cat, Lego. We also love to travel. In fact, over my last track-out we went to San Diego and saw sea lions basking in the sun on the rocky coast.
